In December 2021, the educational and research institutions of Ivanovo City will hold the first ever youth scientific contest "Popular Scientific Flash-Talk".
The first youth scientific contest "Popular Scientific Flash-Talk" of Ivanovo City will be held at 4 p.m. on December 17, 2021. The contest is organized by G.A. Krestov Institute of Solution Chemistry RAS (ISC RAS, http://www.isc-ras.ru), Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology (ISUCT, https://www.isuct.ru), Ivanovo State University (IvSU, http://ivanovo.ac.ru) and Ivanovo State Polytechnic University (ISPU, https://ivgpu.com). The organizers will challenge the participants – winners of the qualifying stages among young scientists (students, post-graduate students and research workers under 35 years old) doing their research at ISC RAS, ISUCT, IvSU and ISPU – to boil down their research to its essence in only a 180 second talk.
Rules of the contest:
- the talk must not be longer than 180 seconds;
- the talk must be concise, original and accessible to a wide audience;
- the talks will be assessed by an independent jury of science, business and mass media representatives;
- the Audience prize will be awarded to one of the participants by audience vote.
The contest final will be held in conference hall No. 1 of the "Parus" business center (Ivanovo, Bubnova St., 40A) at 4 p.m. on December 17, 2021.
