Congratulations to the ISC RAS researchers on receiving grants of the Russian Science Foundation!!!

Eight groups of ISC RAS scientists have become winners of the 2021 Russian Science Foundation competition among small scientific groups for doing research in 2022-2023:

  1. Synthesis and design of hybrid fluorophores for combined fluorescent diagnostics and antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (the group leader is Doctor of Chemical Sciences Nugzar Zh. Mamardashvili);
  2. A new approach to calculating solvation effects in biomolecule solutions within the framework of the classical density functional theory (the group leader is Doctor of Chemical Sciences Marina V. Fedotova);
  3. Interrelation of self-diffusion of binary mixture components. NMR spectroscopy and MD simulation (the group leader is Candidate of Chemical Sciences Vasily A. Golubev);
  4. A study of the spatial structure and interaction of fenamates with a lipid membrane in solutions and supercritical fluids for identifying their potential non-cyclooxygenase effects on human body (the group leader is Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Ilya A. Khodov);
  5. Scientific basis of new composite hydrogel design for skin cancer therapy (the group leader is Doctor of Chemical Sciences Irina V. Terekhova);
  6. Electrochemical codeposition of metalloporphyrins for the formation of bimetallic electrocatalysts (the group leader is Candidate of Chemical Sciences Sergey M. Kuzmin);
  7. Specific interactions underlying molecular recognition of peptides of different structure with nucleic acid fragments in liquid media as the basis of their biological function (the group leader is Doctor of Chemical Sciences Vladimir P. Barannikov);
  8. The effect of the structure of protic ionic liquids on their physico-chemical properties: computer simulation and experiment (the group leader is Candidate of Chemical Sciences Irina V. Fedorova).

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
