Basic stages of research and teaching activities:
Parfenyuk Vladimir Ivanovich was born in 1954. He graduated from Ivanovo Chemistry and Technology Institute in 1976 (dept. of “Technology of electrochemical productions”). In 1979 he graduated from post-graduate course at the department of Inorganic chemistry of ICTI. In 1980 he completed a Ph.D. thesis in Inorganic chemistry.
Since 1980 he works in Solutions Chemistry Institute of Russian Academy Sciences as senior research worker and chief research worker. In 2000 he defended doctoral thesis in Physical chemistry. In 2001 he got professorial academic status. In 2004 on the basis of two scientific groups the profile laboratory “Electrochemical processes in condensed ionic mediums” specializing on carrying out electrochemical investigations in the field of solutions chemistry, nanochemistry, plasmachemistry and chemistry of surface effects was established by him. He is the author of 170 scientific works. He is a member of the Learned council on defending doctoral theses in ISC RAS and ISUCT.
He is involved in teaching. In different years he taught at Ivanovo State Power University and Ivanovo State Architectural University. At present, he is a professor at the department “Technology of electrochemical productions” of Ivanovo State Chemistry and Technology University and at the department “Chemistry” at Necrasov’s Kostroma State University. He is a professor-consultant of other Russian Universities.
He is a corresponding member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, a chairman of subsection “Electrochemistry” of Ivanovo Department of RANS.
