We present the results of synthesis and investigation of the thermal behavior, ion transport properties and electrochemical stability of polymerized imidazolium-based protic ionic liquids (poly(ILs)) as materials with potential applications in electrochemical devices. The phase behavior of both poly(ILs) and the corresponding IL monomers (MILS) was studied using differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis. The temperature dependences of the conductivity and electrochemical window of all the MILS and poly(ILs) are discussed.
