The authors of the above paper came recently to the inference that the apparent (down to infinite dilution) molar volumes of methanol in water and aqueous sulphonamides are negative in sign and unusually large in magnitude. In this regard, two main points relating to the given "phenomenon" were considered here: how plausible is it and what experimental "features" did the authors apply to achieve such a result? Based on the recalculated authors' data and reliable literature data of interest, it is concluded here on the scientific absurdity of results reported in the paper being commented. The main reasons for this could be the sloppy performing experimental procedures as well as the incorrect using well-known thermodynamic relations by the authors (Bahadur et al.).
