ISC RAS has announced the results of the qualifying stage of the First #VideoScience Contest among its researchers and post-graduate students and Bachelor and Master course students placed in internship and/or working at ISC RAS. The contestants presented 12 video clips (not longer than 5 minutes each) about their scientific achievements and developments.
The jury assessed the video presentations by several criteria:
- originality;
- simplicity of presentation of the material and its accessibility to a wide audience;
- clarity of problem setting and definition of the objectives;
- laconism;
- scientific novelty, relevance and practical importance of the results.
The jury selected three winners of the contest:
1st prize - Mikhail Agafonov, Junior Research Worker, Lab. 3-7 (subject "Micellar Solution to Problem Drugs")
2nd prize - Anna Garibyan, Intern Researcher, Lab. 3-7 (subject "Cyclodextrin Is Essential for Drugs")
3rd prize - Valeria Shibaeva, Intern Researcher, Lab. 3-6 (subject "Thermoionogels")
The winners of the qualifying stage will take part in the final stage that will be held on May 4 - 18, 2022.
Besides, an online vote determined the winner of the Public Admiration Prize. The prize was given to Yulia Dukhova, a 4th year student of Ivanovo State Polytechnic University, Lab. 3-6 (subject "Reality of the First Lessons in Science").
