The first hackathon Digital Pharmacology: Predictive Modelling has been held online by the Infochemistry Research Center of the ITMO University, Sintelli project and Medtech.Moscow.
The participates were given 48 hours to build a machine learning model to accurately predict the toxicity of a chemical compound. To win the contest, the participants were to demonstrate that their model had high accuracy and was applicable to a wide range of compound classes.
The machine learning model built by the ISC RAS scientists became one of the five best solutions at the Digital Pharmacology: Predictive Modelling hackathon.
