Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Head of Research Department 5 at ISC RAS German Perlovich has been ranked one of the top-cited scientists of the world, according to a study conducted by Stanford University.
Professor Ioannidis from Stanford University analyzed citations of scientists around the world based on the Scopus database and published citation metrics for the top-2% of scientists in each of the 174 subfields included in the analysis.
The rating took into account several indicators: citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator (c-score). A report published based on the study results presents the scientists' career-long and single recent year impact data.
Not only was German Leonidovich ranked one of the scientists with the highest c-score indicators in the world, but became one of the 130 top-cited Russian scientists in 2022!
At ISC RAS, Professor Perlovich is head of the research department that is developing novel pharmaceutical forms of drug compounds and materials for biomedical purposes, as well as head of the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry of Drug Compounds.
German Perlovich also supervises projects funded by the Russian Science Foundation, such as project No.22-13-00031 "Design of biologically available anti-depressant drugs based on multicomponent molecular crystals".
