His research interests:

Chemistry of redox transformations in solutions of aldose, polyphenolic compounds and lignin, and also use and substantiation of nontraditional methods of using biocatalyzed processes in the processing of bast fiber and medicinal plant raw materials to obtain innovative products for light industry, medicine and agriculture:

- the study of biopolymers from plant raw materials, reducing properties of aldoses, technological bases of biochemical delignification of flax textile materials;

- the finding of nontraditional raw materials and structure-preserving methods to isolated the pectin substances and study of the relationship between the chemical structure of polyuronides, their functional properties and physiological activity;

- characteristics of the structure organosolvent nanolignin preparations taking into account the assessment of their photochemical and adsorption capacity.
