Specific:

  1. Polymorphism of molecular crystals (drugs), pharmaceutical cocrystals, solvates.
  2. Solubility and dissolution of drug compounds, cocrystals, solvates in water, buffer solutions and various organic solvents (Isothermal saturation method).
  3. Sublimation thermodynamics of molecular crystals (drugs): vapour pressure; thermodynamic functions (The flow inert gas (transpiration) method).
  4. Partitioning and distribution of drugs in water-octanol system;
  5. Thermodynamics of fusion and vaporization, heat capacity determination using thermogravimetric (TG) and DSC techniques.
  6. Crystals lattice energy calculations of molecular crystals using atom-atom potentials (PIXEL) and solid-state DFT computations with periodic boundary conditions (CRYSTAL 14).
